Nrityanjul Dance is a renowned dance company based in Milton, founded and directed by Dr. Anjul Sharma, a doctorate of philosophy in the Indian Classical Dance form of Kathak. With over three decades of experience in mastering Kathak, Dr. Anjul Sharma is a dedicated dancer and a disciple of Pt.

Rajendra Gangani, a leading exponent of the Jaipur Gharana style of Kathak. She has also learned technicalities of the Lucknow Gharana style of Kathak from maestro Pt. Birju Maharaj.

Dr. Anjul Sharma began her journey in Kathak under the guidance of professor Santosh Sharma and professor Santosh Vyas, who instilled in her a deep passion for the art form. She has also acquired knowledge in theatre and television from Dr. Yogesh Ghambhir.

Dr. Anjul Sharma completed her PhD from Punjabi University, Patiala in 2002 and has been teaching Kathak since 1986. She is amongst the most prominent Kathak dancers, having trained hundreds of students in this beautiful dance form.

At Nrityanjul Dance, Dr. Anjul Sharma aims to impart the delicacy and beauty of Kathak to her students in Canada. Classes in Indian Classical Dance Kathak are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in Milton, and on Saturdays and Sundays in Oakville.
