Nrityanjali Traditional Kathak Institution (NTKI), established in 2009 by Susanta Ghosh, stands as a beacon for preserving and nurturing the exquisite art of Kathak Nritya, particularly the Lucknow Gharana style. Offering both online and offline classes for students of all ages and skill levels, NTKI is dedicated to instilling the refined aesthetics, expressive nuances, and complex rhythms that define this classical Indian dance form.
Under the keen guidance of Susanta Ghosh, a renowned Kathak performer and educator, students receive intricate training that harmoniously unites the mind, body, and soul. With a foundation in the Kathak Yoga principles introduced by Late Pandit Chitresh Das, learners dive deep into the rich rhythmic compositions, dazzling footwork, and expressive storytelling inherent in Kathak.
The nurturing environment at NTKI extends its reach to the children of Kolkata's Red Light area in collaboration with the New Light Organization, providing them an artistic sanctuary and a platform to showcase their burgeoning talents.
