Since its establishment in 1996 with just three junior teams, the club has experienced continuous growth and achievements. Currently, in the 2023/2024 season, the club proudly boasts a total of 61 teams, catering to players aged 7 to 18, including senior men's and reserve teams. With over 700 playing members, North Shields Juniors AFC has become a prominent force in the local football community.

The club's journey began with junior soccer, and it later expanded its offerings to include mini soccer in 2001. Furthermore, the introduction of a soccer skills format on Saturday mornings, which regularly attracts around 150 participants weekly, has further enhanced the club's appeal and popularity. North Shields Juniors AFC is proud to see its members donning the iconic North Shields Juniors Strip, symbolising unity and commitment to the sport.
