Miss Kimberly is the Principal and Studio Owner of Northern Rivers Dance Studio (NRDS), a locally owned and operated dance school in Ballina. With over 24 years of experience in the dance industry, Miss Kimberly is deeply passionate about dance and its ability to enrich young people's lives. She started dancing at the age of 4 and has achieved outstanding exam results in all dance genres.
As a qualified dance teacher with a Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management from Australian Teachers of Dancing (ATOD), Miss Kimberly is registered as an Associated Dance Teacher. She has been teaching dance for the past 14 years, covering jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, and line dancing. Miss Kimberly's commitment to her students goes beyond just teaching dance steps. She strives to inspire confidence and pride in their achievements, regardless of their age or abilities.
In addition to her dance qualifications, Miss Kimberly also holds a Bachelor of Education (Primary) degree from Southern Cross University. This background in education allows her to effectively work with children, including those with special needs. Dance has proven to be invaluable in breaking down barriers and helping children with learning differences to thrive.
Joining Miss Kimberly at NRDS is Miss Bianca, another passionate dance teacher. Miss Bianca discovered her love for dancing at the age of 4 and has been devoted to it ever since. She completed her dance exams under ATOD Ltd, excelling with scores above Honours in Jazz, Ballet, and Tap. Her dedication and talent in dance are evident in her teaching.
NRDS offers professional dance lessons for all age groups from 2 years old and up. The studio aims to provide a safe, happy, and dynamic learning environment for every child, fostering a love of dance and a sense of achievement.
