The Northern Rivers Classic Motorcycle Club, based in the Far North Coast of NSW, is all about restoring and riding classic motorcycles. Each month, they hold meetings at the Clunes Community Hall on the 2nd Tuesday at 7.30pm. These meetings are a great opportunity to connect with fellow enthusiasts and share stories about their beloved two-wheeled machines.
But it doesn't stop there. The club also organises regular rides, ensuring that members get to fully experience the joy of riding their vintage motorcycles. They have not one, but two Sunday rides each month, as well as two mid-week rides. This means that no matter your schedule, there's always a chance to hit the open road with like-minded individuals.
The primary NRCMCC ride takes place monthly on the Sunday immediately following the club meeting. It's a chance for everyone to come together and explore the beautiful landscapes of the Northern Rivers region on their classic bikes. And if you happen to have an H, G, or J plated motorcycle, you're in for a treat. The club also hosts a “CLASSICS ONLY” ride on the 1st Sunday of every month, exclusively for these bikes. It's a great opportunity to showcase your vintage ride and bond with fellow owners.
For those interested in joining the Sunday rides, the starting point is at the Norco Rural Stores on 105 Wilson Street South Lismore, at a bright and early 9 am. The Wednesday rides, however, start at Lismore Railway Station at the same time, specifically on the 1st and 4th Wednesday of each month. Whether you're a club member or a guest, you're more than welcome to join in on these adventures.
In addition to the regular meetings and rides, the Northern Rivers Classic Motorcycle Club also organises an annual Classic Rally in September. It's an event that motorcycle enthusiasts eagerly anticipate, and entry forms will be available for download later in the year. So mark your calendars and get ready to rev those engines!
