The Northern Regional Rowing Council is thrilled to announce the upcoming Long Distance Sculling (LDS) series set to take place in the autumn of 2024. This series is sure to be an exciting opportunity for scullers of all levels, with competitions happening on consecutive weekends. Whether you're a single sculler, part of a double, quad, or octuplet team (not at all locations), there's a chance for everyone to get involved.
Participants will have the chance to compete for prizes at each competition, as well as aim for the prestigious Victor Ludorum for clubs over the entire series. In addition to the LDS series, there will also be Small Boats Head (SBH) competitions featuring both sculling and sweep events in the afternoon on four of the six days.
For those interested in learning more about the LDS series, feel free to contact the LDS Series Coordinator, Dan Lockey, at [email protected]. This is a fantastic opportunity for rowers to challenge themselves and showcase their skills on the water. Don't miss out on what promises to be an exhilarating series of events!
