North East Cheer's latest venture is the Newcastle Skyline, an exciting Contemporary Dance event that is set to captivate the local dance community. Held at our very own headquarters, The Urban Factory, in North Shields, this event promises to showcase the incredible talent and passion of our dancers.
The Urban Factory is the heart and soul of North East Cheer, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that cater to the diverse needs of our athletes. With a full-sized 9 panel competition sprung floor, a smaller 7 panel sprung floor, and a 6 panel floor, our dancers have the perfect canvas to showcase their skills and creativity. We also have a 3 panel warm-up floor, studio, 2 tumble tracks, and an array of training aids to support our dancers' development.
But our offerings don't stop at dance alone. The Urban Factory also boasts a bespoke Parkour arena, a soft play and pre-school programme, a cosy café, and a spacious viewing gallery that offers a panoramic view of the entire venue. This means that not only can our dancers indulge in their love for contemporary dance, but friends, family, and fans can also come along and cheer them on from the sidelines.
