About

The Norseman Swimming Pool, located in Norseman, is a popular community facility that is open during the summer months from approximately November to March. The pool offers a refreshing escape from the heat and provides a safe and enjoyable space for locals and visitors alike.

Operating hours for the Norseman Swimming Pool are from midday to 6. 00pm, Tuesday to Sunday, except Christmas Day. The pool is situated on the southern boundary of Welcome Park, on Roberts Street, making it easily accessible for all members of the community.

For those looking for additional fitness options, the pool also features a gym which can be accessed 24/7 with the use of a key. To obtain a key, individuals must pay a one-off membership fee of $50. 00 (including GST). Key holders also have the option to pay for multiple months in advance, receiving a discount on their membership.

It's important to note that memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. If a member wishes to terminate their membership early, they will forfeit any unused membership time until the expiry of their access key. Only individuals who are 16 years of age or older are authorised to have access to the gym.

The Norseman Swimming Pool also offers a variety of other community facilities. A community bus is available for hire through the Shire of Dundas, with applicable fees and conditions of use available upon request. The Norseman Youth Centre welcomes youth aged 12 to 17 and operates during specified hours to coincide with school terms and holidays. It is significant to note that the Youth Centre operates under a “No School = No Youth Centre" policy.

The Norseman Community Resource Centre is available Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm, offering discounted services to members. The Centrelink agent is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 12pm for individuals seeking assistance.

For social events, the Norseman Town Hall and Sporting Complex offer ample space for functions. The Town Hall can comfortably seat up to 200 people and includes a kitchen, crockery, tables, and seating.
