Warwick Little Athletics is excited to invite athletes from U7 to U17 age groups to the Nordic Sport Aust. Summer Regional Relays event! This friendly competition includes track and field relays where participants can compete in teams. There are no minimum participation requirements for athletes to nominate, so don't hesitate to sign up.
The main goal of the Regional Relays is to give athletes the opportunity to qualify for the prestigious McDonald's State Relay Championships. Eligibility is open to all LAQ registered athletes in the specified age groups. Teams placing 1st to 3rd in track events and 1st and 2nd in field events from U9 to U17 age groups will have the chance to progress to the State Relay Championships.
To participate, make sure to submit your nominations through your LAQ Centre. Each athlete can compete in a maximum of five events (three for Multi-Class) at the Regions. Winter Centres and Centres in the Central Coast Region also have the option to nominate teams directly for the State Relay Championships.
