Shinbudo London Grappling Club is excited to announce our non-contact movement – strength and conditioning class for kids aged 5–19 years old. Led by our esteemed Head Coach, Glenn Spiers, who is a Level 4 UKCC judo coach, this program is specifically designed to help young athletes excel in grappling arts such as Judo, Sambo, Wrestling, and BJJ.
In our class, participants will engage in a series of progressive exercises aimed at increasing their range of body movements, developing speed, strength, and explosiveness. We want our young grapplers to be the best they can be, and this class will surely help them achieve that goal.
Glenn will be focusing on various fundamental skills that are essential for success in grappling, from jumping and squatting to agility drills and rolling and falling safely. We will also work on quadrupedal movements and grip strength, as these are crucial in improving overall performance.
But it doesn't stop there. Our non-contact movement – strength and conditioning class goes beyond just enhancing specific grappling skills. We also concentrate on exercises that target postural distortions, muscular imbalances, joint instability, and faulty movement patterns. By addressing these issues, we aim to improve the overall health, well-being, and long-term athletic performance of our participants.
So why wait? We invite you to join us for Glenn's Sunday morning class and experience the incredible benefits of movement and strength & conditioning training. Whether you're a dedicated grappler or simply looking to enhance your overall fitness, this class is perfect for you.
Come and be a part of Shinbudo London Grappling Club's non-contact movement – strength and conditioning class. Unlock your potential, push your limits, and become the best version of yourself. We can't wait to see you there!
