Holistic wellness through individual and group counselling sessions. Our team of counsellors, social workers, and mental health therapists provide support and resources for those struggling with mental health issues and addictions.
NMninoeyaa Aboriginal Health Access Centre is dedicated to providing culturally safe and inclusive health care services to the Aboriginal community in Cutler and surrounding areas. Our vision, Working as One for the Wellbeing of All, drives our mission to work with community partners to enhance the wellness of individuals, families, and communities.
Our centre offers a wide range of services, including primary health care, home and community support services, and mental wellness support programs. Our Primary Health Care Team provides services to on-reserve community members and the urban Aboriginal population in Sault Ste. Marie. We also offer home and community support services, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and assisted living services.
In addition, our mental wellness and addictions program helps individuals create their own path to holistic wellness through counselling and therapy sessions. We strive to increase client participation in their health care and provide access to traditional health and healing activities for those who request such services.
At NMninoeyaa Aboriginal Health Access Centre, our mandate is to improve accessibility, comprehensiveness, coordination, continuity, and accountability in health care. We are committed to ensuring that our clients receive culturally safe and holistic care that meets their unique needs. Join us in our mission to work as one for the wellbeing of all.
