Ninja-Qubec, Dojo de Montral, is a martial arts club dedicated to the practice of Ninjutsu, the traditional self-defence art of the Ninja. Founded in 2008 under the supervision of Kevin Juntoshi Gagnon, the club offers a modern adaptation of Ninjutsu that focuses on self-defence and personal protection. Unlike traditional martial arts, there are no competitions, katas, or memorisation of movements – instead, students are taught using scientific principles and a touch of humour.
Located at 1190 boulevard Louis XIV, local 190, Qubec, the club offers classes on Mondays and Thursdays for both basic Ninjutsu techniques and advanced training for adults. There is also an option to join classes online via Discord for those unable to attend in person. Additionally, the club hosts special events like the Shinobi Weekend seminar every April, where students can further explore the art of Ninjutsu.
In 2019, under the supervision of Franois Larouche, Ninja-Qubec expanded to include a Dojo in Montreal located at the Centre communautaire de loisirs Sainte-Catherine dAlexandrie, offering classes on Tuesdays for adults. The club also has branches in Drummondville and Victoriaville, each with their own schedule of classes for adults and children.
Ninja-Qubec prides itself on creating a supportive and motivating community for its members. The club values stress management, personal safety, and physical and emotional well-being. Prospective members are encouraged to schedule a meeting with the instructors to see if their values align with those of the club. Membership at Ninja-Qubec includes unlimited in-person classes, access to live-streaming classes on Discord, and a library of instructional videos for all levels.
With a focus on inclusivity and no binding contracts, Ninja-Qubec offers a unique approach to learning Ninjutsu in a supportive and welcoming environment. Whether you are looking to start your martial arts journey or continue your training, Ninja-Qubec, Dojo de Montral, welcomes you to join their community and experience the art of Ninjutsu in a modern and practical way.
