Ninja Lab Dojo is proud to be affiliated with Kimekai Karate, a well-respected martial arts institution with a history of excellence. Kimekai Karate originated in Hobart and has grown into one of the largest martial arts clubs in Victoria, Australia. The founder of Kimekai, Sensei Marco Mazzanti, trained TMeika, the founder of Ninja Lab Dojo. TMeika has represented Tasmania, Victoria, and Australia, achieving notable success in both Junior and Senior levels of competition.

Kimekai Karate is based on the traditional Shitoryu Karate system from Japan. It combines the values of respect and discipline with modern teaching methods, creating a dynamic martial arts style. The emphasis on effective technique, rather than brute strength, makes Kimekai suitable for both men and women of all ages. The name “Kimekai” translates to “The way of focusing energy,” symbolising progress, evolution, and a dedication to constant improvement.

As a proud member of Kobe Osaka International and the Australian Karate Federation (AKF), Kimekai Karate Dojo at Ninja Lab upholds a high level of tuition and organisational standards. The AKF affiliation enables Kimekai members to participate in karate tournaments at the highest level, including representation at state and national levels. The AKF, under the direction of the Olympic Committee, also oversees karate as a sport in the Olympic Games.

Ultimately, Ninja Lab Dojo aims to provide exceptional karate training, fostering personal development, self-defence skills, and a deep understanding of traditional training.
