Budokan Tasmania Japanese Jujutsu & Culture Centre is thrilled to introduce the Ninja Dojo program, designed specifically for children and teenagers who are keen to explore the world of Traditional Martial Arts and the secretive art of the Ninja! Rather than sticking to a conventional approach, this program aims to engage young minds through fun and lively methods while also instilling essential life skills, physical fitness, and the philosophy of martial arts.
At the Ninja Dojo, participants will have the opportunity to learn a diverse range of skills based on traditional techniques. Flexibility, agility, and endurance exercises are incorporated alongside essential stances and footwork unique to the Ninja. Safety techniques such as falling, rolling, and tumbling are also taught to enhance self-defence capabilities. Additionally, participants will be exposed to various exercises that promote heightened awareness, along with engaging games and intriguing stories to keep the learning experience captivating.
But that's not all! The Ninja Dojo also leaves room for the exploration of Ninjutsu philosophy, Japanese language, and of course, life skills that extend beyond the realm of martial arts. Our dedicated instructors are committed to creating a safe, fun, and enjoyable environment for young adventurers to not only grow physically but also develop mentally and emotionally.
Classes for the Ninja Dojo program are conveniently held at 159 Macquarie Street in Hobart. To ensure a smooth start to your Ninja journey, we kindly request that you arrive 10–15 minutes before your first class. For children aged 6–9 years, we kindly ask that a parent or guardian be present throughout the session.
