Nillumbik Force Netball Association, located within the beautiful Nillumbik Shire in Diamond Creek, is proud to be the one and only netball association in the area. With the upcoming 2022 year, the association is excited to announce its new home at the Nillumbik Regional Netball Centre, the first purpose-built netball facility in Nillumbik.
At Nillumbik Force Netball Association, their mission is to provide a welcoming and inclusive netball community for players of all ages and skill levels. The association offers a range of competitions and programmes designed to cater to the needs and interests of netball enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, there's a place for you at Nillumbik Force.
One of the highlights of the association is their Force Rep Team Trials for 2024. These trials are open to athletes from both within and outside the association, with the requirement that athletes selected for a 2024 rep team must play for a club within the association during that year (except for 17's and Opens). The trials will be held on Sunday 22 October and Sunday 29 October 2023, offering age groups for 11 & Under, 13 & Under, 15 & Under, 17 & Under, and Open categories. The Nillumbik Regional Netball Centre's outdoor courts will serve as the venue for the trials, providing a top-notch environment for players to showcase their skills.
For those interested in participating in the upcoming Association Representative Team Tournament, the association hosts an annual event that showcases the talent and dedication of its members. Although entries for the 2023 tournament have already closed, successful associations will be notified soon, and spectators can look forward to witnessing the fierce competition.
In addition to these competitive events, Nillumbik Force Netball Association offers a Saturday Morning NETSETGO programme, perfect for young players looking to develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment. Registrations for the programme are now open, with the programme commencing on Saturday 25 February.
Nillumbik Force Netball Association prides itself on its commitment to child safety and empowering all children within their care. They strive to create a culture where children feel safe and valued, preventing any form of abuse from occurring. The association also emphasises the importance of cultural safety for First Nations children, children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and children with disabilities.
