Clip 'n Climb Cambridge presents NICAS Clip CLIMB DOWN, a fantastic 12-week rock climbing qualification course designed specifically for children aged 8 and above. With safety as the top priority, our dedicated team of NICAS-trained instructors will guide and support climbers as they embark on their rock climbing journey.
During this action-packed course, climbers will have the opportunity to learn and practice indoor climbing techniques, enhancing their climbing skills while gaining a deeper understanding of movement and technique. More than just a climbing course, NICAS Clip CLIMB DOWN aims to foster confidence, teamwork, balance, communication, coordination, and agility in our young climbers.
The course is divided into two programs to cater to different levels of experience. The Foundation Program is perfect for beginners, offering a solid introduction to rock climbing. For those who have completed the Foundation Program, our Advanced Program is the next exciting step. No matter which level climbers start from, they will receive a logbook to record their progress and achievements throughout the course.
Upon successful completion of the NICAS Clip CLIMB DOWN course, climbers will be awarded a nationally recognised NICAS certificate and cloth badge, acknowledging their dedication and accomplishment. We take pride in helping our climbers reach their full potential and celebrate their hard work at the end of the course.
Sessions are conveniently scheduled after school during term time, making it easy for climbers to participate without disrupting their other activities. To ensure personalised attention and a safe climbing environment, each course accommodates a maximum of 10 climbers. This allows our experienced instructors to give individualised feedback and guidance tailored to each climber's needs.
We understand that parents may want to relax during the session, which is why we have an on-site café with free Wi-Fi available. Parents can unwind and catch up on their own tasks while their child enjoys the adventure of rock climbing. Please note that children under 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent for their safety and supervision.
