Nia Mid-Sussex Ltd is a physical fitness programme located in Burgess Hill, New Zealand. Founded in March 2012 by Annette Courtenage, a certified Nia White Belt Teacher, and Emma Seymour, a Nia student, this community space aims to provide information on weekly Nia classes, workshops, and community events in and around Mid-Sussex.
Nia is a sensory-based movement practise that promotes health, wellness, and fitness. It empowers individuals of all shapes and sizes by connecting the body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Classes at Nia Mid-Sussex are conducted barefoot, accompanied by soul-stirring music, which creates an even deeper connexion to the practise. Nia classes are held in more than 45 countries worldwide.

Each Nia routine taught at Nia Mid-Sussex has a specific focus and intent. Some recent routines include Gravity and Levity, which aims to create a sense of falling up; Cure, which focuses on Walk-Step-Dance, allowing individuals to personalise their movement and self-express while moving in their own body's way; and Mystery, inspired by the slow dance of Tai Chi, which intends to condition the central nervous system.
