About
Actions within the game of rugby.
Niagara Flag Rugby offers a fun and safe environment for youths aged 4 to 12 to learn and play the sport of rugby. Practices are held for 1 hour per week with 5 Saturday tournaments planned throughout the season, running from mid-May to mid-August. The club is aligned with Rugby Ontario and provides non-contact programs, with options for modified play for those under age 14 and 16.
Players in Niagara Falls can join in on Wednesday nights, while those in Grimsby can participate on Monday nights. Each team consists of 4 age divisions, all practising on the same night at the same location. The Niagara Region has teams in both cities, providing opportunities for players to develop and compete.
Niagara Flag Rugby is thankful for the support from sponsors who contribute to the club and the community. For any club inquiries or information on starting a new club, interested individuals can reach out for more details. The club follows the mission of Rugby Canada, focusing on player-centered development and competition to improve age-appropriate variations and uphold values of integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline, and respect within the game of rugby. Join Niagara Flag Rugby and pick up the ball to run with them on the field!
