The club boasts a number of senior teams, including the Over 35's squad and the Waikato C Div team. These teams have consistently delivered exceptional performances, showcasing the skill, dedication, and teamwork that defines Ngaruawahia United AFC.
In 2023, Ngaruawahia United AFC had a stellar season, with several players and teams achieving remarkable success. The club takes immense pride in recognising the achievements of its members, and the senior awards ceremony was a testament to the hard work and talent within the club.
Some notable players who were recognised during the awards ceremony include Rory Kerr-Bell, who clinched the title of Top Goalscorer for the Over 35's team, and Jaime Skiffington, who received the same accolade for the Waikato C Div team. Other awardees included Andrew Thomas, Jonathan Chavez Lightfoot, and Daryl Matthews for the Over 35's squad, and Krishiv Prasad, Suryebans Kumar, and Jack Whiteman for the Waikato C Div team.
The club's success extended to the NL Championship U23's team, with Zander Pringle and Conor Reynolds leading the way as top goalscorer and squad member, respectively. Finn Lucas-Harris and Campbell Martin were recognised for their sportsmanship and improvement, while Stejpan Kovacic, Marko Memedovic, and Davis Vhavha impressed in their respective roles. Thomas McMillan, Matthew Brown, and Stefan Heuberger were also commended for their outstanding contributions to the NL Championship team.
In addition to individual achievements, the club also acknowledged the important role played by its staff and supporters. Neve Newport was recognised as the dedicated Club Administrator, while Kelly-anne Jackson was hailed as a valuable Club Supporter. Aaron Goundar received the Club Achievement award, and Andy Bell was honoured with the Club Service Award. Cory Newport was named Club Sportsperson of the Year, a well-deserved recognition for their commitment and dedication to the club.
