As a registered British Cycling Go-Ride and Clubmark club, Greg is dedicated to promoting and supporting cycling locally. Established in 1976 as the Burton Borough Cycling Club, Newport Shropshire Cycling Club has a rich history and strong community ties. In 1977, the club expanded and changed its name to reflect its growth. By 2007, the current name was adopted to represent both its locale and commitment to cycling.

Located in Newport, the club is perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful Shropshire countryside and challenging terrains. Members can take part in various disciplines, including sportives, road racing, time trials, mountain biking, cyclo-cross and track racing. Regular club rides provide the benefits of group cycling and the camaraderie of like-minded folks.
