New Lount Bowling Club, nestled in Coleorton, North West Leicestershire, has been around since 1928 and remains the go-to spot for lawn bowls enthusiasts. Known initially as New Lount Sports & Athletic Club, it has grown into a community hub for both seasoned bowlers and newcomers.

The club is affiliated with Bowls England, Bowls Leicestershire, and supports the Bowling Development Association (BDA). They are keen to get more people, especially younger folks, into the sport and strive to create welcoming environment for everyone.

Competing in leagues such as the Loughborough & District Bowling Association and the Coalville and District Bowling Association, New Lount fields teams in several leagues, including the Thursday Men's Triples, Wednesday Mixed Triples, and the Friday Ladies League, among others. They also have a full programme of Saturday Friendly fixtures for those who enjoy social matches.

With a comprehensive fixture list, New Lount caters to all ages and skill levels, organising National, County, and Club Competitions in singles, pairs, triples, and rinks. There's always something happening on the greens.

For those curious about trying out bowls, the club offers taster sessions every Monday at 5pm. Just bring flat-soled shoes and a willingness to have fun.
