As a British Weightlifting affiliated facility with BWL Level 2 or above coaches, New Horizon CrossFit stands out as one of the few gyms in Hertfordshire and north of London that offer top-tier coaching for Olympic lifts like the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. They boast some of the highest Strength & Conditioning levels in the country. Their British Weightlifting Club is designed to support students and fellow coaches in improving their Olympic lifting skills.
In addition to their CrossFit and weightlifting programmes, New Horizon CrossFit also provides “open gym” sessions. During these sessions, the gym facilities are open and available for use outside regular classes. While a coach will be present on-site, these sessions are not led by a coach. Open gym provides members with extra time to work on skills, drills, technique, and form at their own pace.
Gymnastics is a cornerstone of all CrossFit movements, and New Horizon CrossFit recognises its importance. They offer gymnastics classes that cater to all levels of ability, helping members improve flexibility, body strength, and overall health. In addition to CrossFit-associated gymnastics, they also offer pure Callisthenics-based classes.
