New Century Bowmen is proud to have a team of dedicated and experienced coaches who are passionate about helping individuals improve their archery skills. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced archer looking to refine your technique, our coaches are here to support you every step of the way. They provide personalised instruction and guidance, ensuring that each member receives the attention they need to succeed.
In addition to our coaching services, New Century Bowmen also hosts regular competitions and tournaments for both members and non-members. These events are a great way to test your skills, meet other archers, and enjoy some friendly competition. We provide entry forms and results from previous competitions on our website, allowing you to stay up-to-date with the latest events.
As an affiliated club, New Century Bowmen is proud to be a part of the Cheshire Archery Association and the Northern Counties Archery Society. These partnerships allow our members to participate in regional and national competitions, as well as access additional resources and training opportunities. It is just one of the many benefits of being a member of New Century Bowmen.
Our club facilities cater to both indoor and outdoor shooting. Our clubhouse boasts 7 individual foam bosses with targets at 18 metres, perfect for standard indoor rounds. We provide a range of target faces and equipment for archers to use, as well as bow maintenance and tuning resources. The clubhouse is available to full members 24/7, and we have implemented ventilation and sanitization measures to ensure the safety of our members during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Outside, our club owns its own land exclusively for archery use. This gives us the flexibility to have up to 30 bosses for major tournaments. For day-to-day shooting, we have 7 foam bosses on wheels and a couple of fixed bosses. The field is split into 3 ranges, accommodating different shooting distances.
We are committed to maintaining the field and ensuring a safe shooting environment for all members.
New Century Bowmen is always seeking to bring new people into the sport of archery, which is why we offer beginners courses throughout the year. These courses are run by ArcheryGB accredited coaches and provide all the necessary equipment and instruction for participants. At the end of the course, we offer guidance on joining the club and purchasing your own bow if you decide to continue with the sport.
