Nepean Womens Golf Club

Nepean Women's Golf Club, established in 1952, is a sports club located in Brighton East, offering a welcoming and inclusive environment for women of all ages and golfing abilities. The club holds 18 and 9 hole competitions every Thursday morning at the Brighton Public Golf Course.

Membership at Nepean Women's Golf Club is open to all women and provides numerous benefits. The membership period runs from 1st October through to 30th September, with a Nomination Fee of $150 and an Annual Fee of $175. A reduced fee is available for those joining after 1st May. These charges cover Golf Australia affiliation fees, Golf Link charges, golf insurance, and weekly competition fees.

Members of Nepean Women's Golf Club enjoy a friendly and supportive golfing atmosphere. The club has reserved tee times for 18 and 9 hole competitions on Thursday mornings. Members can conveniently book their tee times online using the OneGolf system. Additionally, the MiScore digital scoring App is utilised for competition scoring.

Nepean Women's Golf Club is proud to offer its members access to the clubhouse, known as “the Pavilion,” located inside the golf course near the car park. New members are assigned a mentor who assists with integration into the club, including guidance on rules and course etiquette. Members also receive an official Golf Link handicap and have the opportunity to participate in interclub competitions, including VGL Pennant.

In addition to regular competitions, Nepean Women's Golf Club organises various social activities, including luncheons and an annual golfing trip. The club also boasts a well-equipped Pro Shop and offers coaching professionals at the Brighton Golf Course. Green fees are payable at the Pro Shop, and discounts are available through multi-passes and membership options.

Prospective members are invited to visit the club on any Thursday, the competition day, between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm to learn more about membership options. Membership applications can be obtained in person or downloaded from the club's website. Completed applications can be emailed or mailed to the Secretary.

Nepean Women's Golf Club is affiliated with the Victorian Golf League and Golf Australia and prides itself on supporting local charities through its annual Charity/Guest Day.
