Membership is the heart of Nelson Yacht Club. As a member, you'll have opportunities to join training courses, club racing, volunteer, serve on committees, and assist with working bees. And after action-filled days on the water, you can unwind and share stories over a drink at the club.
Club racing is a big part of things at Nelson Yacht Club, with races most Saturdays during the season. There’s a mix of handicap and scratch class races, plus some special events. They also host the annual Whakatu Regatta and welcome other regional, national, and international regattas.
Need a venue? Their Aurora Lounge offers a stunning spot for meetings, conferences, parties, or weddings, with unbeatable harbour views. Tim and the team are committed to tailoring each event to its needs.
