Nelson Park Riding Centre, located in Birchington, is proud to be Thanet's largest riding school. In addition to its excellent facilities, Nelson Park Riding Centre is proudly approved by five governing organisations and holds several accreditations. It is the only riding school in the area that is an official Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) approved centre, ensuring that riders with disabilities can participate in equine activities.

Additionally, all staff members undergo enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks to ensure the safety and wellbeing of riders.
Nelson Park Riding Centre is also committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for riders. It is Thanet's largest local Pony Club Centre, offering opportunities for young riders to learn and compete in a supportive setting. The centre is fully licenced by the Local Authority and holds comprehensive insurance coverage.
