Negaca Capoeira South Cambridge is excited to share some updates with the community. Led by Mestre Chitozinho, this passionate club has been a staple in Cambridge, UK, providing top-notch capoeira training and culture.
The 10-week beginner Capoeira course kicks off on Monday 11th September and runs until Monday 13th November at the Arbury Community Centre. It’s open to all beginners, and you have the choice to pay £8 per class or £70 for the whole course. If interested, you can register by emailing capoeiracambs@gmail.com.
Starting in October, the Thursday classes will have a convenient monthly payment option of £35. The fee is set up to cover for the club’s scheduled breaks, making it easier to manage payments and keep the training venue available throughout the year.
Mestre Chitozinho has arranged classes for both adults and children. Adult sessions are held on Mondays at the Arbury Community Centre and on Thursdays at the 28th Scout Hut, Flamesteed Road. Beginners can join the Monday class from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm, while Thursday’s class, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, welcomes all levels.
For the younger enthusiasts, there’s a children’s class on Fridays at the 28th Scout Hut from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, suitable for ages 7 to 13. The drop-in rate is £5, but children need to become members within 30 days to continue. The annual membership fee for kids is £10, which includes insurance. The spring term fee is £50, with specific off days.
Rest assured, all teachers at Negaca Capoeira South Cambridge are friendly, insured, and enhanced CRB checked. Remember to bring water and be punctual to get a full warm-up and avoid injuries. Beginners should wear long workout trousers and inform the instructors of any pre-existing conditions. After a month of regular attendance, getting a uniform is recommended.
