Welcome to NDC – Newcastle Dance Centre, a dance and performing arts academy located in Newcastle upon Tyne. Established in 1931, NDC is a family business that has been leading the way in Dance and Performing Arts for decades. With our strong sense of community and family atmosphere, we proudly refer to ourselves as the 'NDC Family'.

At NDC, we focus on the well-being of our pupils, both physically and mentally. Our pastoral care is of the highest standard, ensuring that every student feels supported and encouraged. Our aim is to help each pupil reach their true potential, surrounded by positivity and creativity.

We offer quality teaching programmes for all levels and ages, from three-year-olds to adults. Our team of highly qualified and motivated dance teachers, along with our Principals Michael Conway, Mavis Whiteside, and Hayley Conway, have vast experience in teaching beginners, experienced dancers, professional performers, and training for professional teaching qualifications.

Our success lies in our ability to train dancers to enter the world of dance and gain acceptance into their chosen dance colleges or universities. Whether you are a beginner, an accomplished professional, or someone seeking extra enjoyment or exercise from dance, Newcastle Dance Centre welcomes you.

In addition to our dance classes, we also have a sister company called ENCORE Dance Entertainment Group. They offer dancers for hire, including costumed performers, themed events, hostesses, and choreography for fashion shows and events.
