

NB Fitness, located in South Melbourne, is a personal training and nutrition coaching service founded by Jordan Nikora-Baker. With over 12 years of industry experience in personal training and fitness management, Jordan is extremely passionate about health and fitness, as well as food.
Jordan's approach to helping clients achieve their goals and create a healthy and sustainable lifestyle is guided by his own experiences and failures throughout his own fitness journey. He believes that by breaking down the “do's and don't's” of health and fitness, being open and honest about the process, and educating clients on what really matters, he can help them make lasting changes.
While discipline and sacrifice are important in achieving specific goals, Jordan also believes in the importance of balance. He emphasises that clients should be able to enjoy the things they want to do and eat the foods they want to eat, all while maintaining a positive mindset and attitude towards their goals.
As a coach, Jordan's philosophy is centred around teaching and educating his clients as much as possible. He aims to not only push them and provide support to achieve great results, but also to empower them with knowledge and understanding so that they can sustain their results on their own. He recognises that everyone is unique, with different goals and circumstances, and therefore requires a personalised approach to achieve their sustainable physical, mental, health, lifestyle, or performance results.
Jordan strongly believes in the value of investing in one's health and fitness. He believes that by taking care of oneself, individuals are better equipped to help those around them, whether it be their children, family, business, employees, or colleagues. He emphasises that neglecting one's health ultimately limits their ability to help others.
NB Fitness offers a range of specialities, including personalised structured training programmes and nutrition plans, fat loss strategies through flexible eating, muscle building and strength training, corrective exercise and posture improvement, small group training, pre and post-natal training, and positive mindset and sustainable habit building.
Jordan holds numerous qualifications, including an Advanced Diploma in Exercise Prescription, a Certificate in Exercise Prescription and Sport Management, an ASCA Strength and Conditioning Coach Level 1 certification, a Certificate IV in Nutrition as a Certified Sports Nutritionist, a Certificate in Exercise Nutrition, and a Pre and Post Natal Training Certificate. Additionally, he has completed programmes in Programme Design Mastery and Corrective Exercise and Neuromuscular Stretching.
In terms of his personal achievements, Jordan has achieved notable physique accomplishments in the NZIFBB Regional competitions, placing in various categories between 2017 and 2018. He has also served as a Fitness Manager in the Wellington region for CityFitness and worked as a head coach and trainer at CityFitness in New Zealand. Furthermore, Jordan is a certified NASM Practical Workshop Facilitator.
