LIT First Aid & Lifeguard Training is excited to announce the upcoming National Lifeguard course, a crucial certification for aspiring lifeguards in Canada. This comprehensive course covers lifeguard principles, communication techniques, and emergency procedures, emphasizing teamwork and adaptability in various aquatic settings.
Participants must come prepared with their own Alert manual, whistle, pocket mask, and Fanny Pack. Prior certification in Standard First Aid from approved providers like the Canadian Red Cross or St. John's Ambulance is a must. To be eligible, participants need to be at least 15 years old by the last day of the course, hold Bronze Cross, and have a 14-hour Standard First Aid certificate.
The course will be held at Bettie Allard YMCA in Coquitlam from Friday to Sunday on specific dates.
