Narangba Crows AFL

Established in 2003, the Narangba Crows AFL Football Club is a beloved institution of the Northern Suburbs in Burpengary, Australia. For almost two decades, the club has been dedicated to nurturing and developing hundreds of young Aussie Rules footy players. The Narangba Crows' primary focus is on fostering a family-friendly environment that prioritises fun, safe play, and teamwork.

The club was born from the collective vision of footy enthusiasts and dedicated parents, with the support of AFL Queensland. In its inaugural year, the Narangba Crows entered the AFL Brisbane Juniors competition with an Aus Kick team consisting of 11 under 8-year-old players. Playing their games at the Narangba Sports and Recreation facilities, it quickly became evident that the thriving Narangba community and its surrounding suburbs would greatly benefit from having their own dedicated club.

Thus, the Narangba Australian Football Club (NAFC) was formed in the following year. The club's growth was evident with the addition of an Under 10s team. By the 2004 season, the club had expanded to include Under 8's, 9's, and 10s, necessitating a move to a larger training and playing space at Narangba Valley State High School.

Throughout the years, the Narangba Crows continued to attract new members, leading to the launch of a Youth Football programme as part of the AFL Brisbane Juniors competition, catering to Under 14's and Under 16's. The club experienced great success during this time, securing multiple premierships, including their inaugural topship in 2007 with the Under 12's team. Visitors to the club's Trophy Room can witness their impressive collection of team premiership achievements.

Currently located at the Findlay Street Sports Reserve, lovingly referred to as 'The Nest,' the Narangba Crows AFC looks towards an exciting future of growth and success as the number one family-friendly footy club in the region.

The Narangba Crows also offer several programmes for aspiring players. The NAB AFL Auskick programme and Super Stars programme provide the best introduction to Aussie Rules Football for boys and girls aged 5 to 12. These non-contact programmes cater to all skill levels and offer a safe and fun environment for young players to learn and develop their skills.

For juniors aged U8. 5 to U11. 5, the club offers the Footy4Fun programme, which takes their footy experience to the next level by introducing tactics in a fun and safe playing environment. This programme prioritises building friendships and facilitating gradual progression in skill development.

The Narangba Crows' Youth Football programme is tailored to players aged U13. 5 to U17. 5 of all abilities and goals. This programme focuses on teamwork, fostering friendships, and providing opportunities for footy tactics and skill-building.
