NAIT Gymnasium is a state-of-the-art fitness facility located in Edmonton, Alberta. The Fitness Weight Centre at NAIT Gymnasium is equipped with a variety of strength and cardio equipment, saunas, showers, washrooms, and locker rentals. In addition to the fitness equipment, the centre also features squash and racquetball courts, training spaces, a power lifting area, a climbing wall, and an exercise studio. The Fitness Weight Centre is open on weekdays and weekends, providing a convenient opportunity for students and members to work out and stay active.
NAIT Gymnasium offers drop-in sports activities for students, as well as access to the MacEwan pool. Students pay a recreation and athletics mandatory non-instructional fee to access the gymnasium and other facilities at NAIT. For public members, membership can be purchased at the Fitness Weight Centre or the AT NAIT card office. The gymnasium also offers facility rentals, including the arena for ice hockey rinks or floored event spaces, complete with fitting rooms and presentation capabilities.
The arena at NAIT Gymnasium can accommodate up to 1300 patrons and is surrounded by a walking/running track. Drop-in skating and hockey times are available throughout the week, with rental rates for various user groups and rental types.
