Join Centred Mums Pilates and Wellbeing for their Mum and Baby Postnatal Pilates classes! Designed specifically for positive postnatal recovery, these classes focus on restoring your core and pelvic floor, gaining strength, and understanding your new body. Get expert advice and support about the postnatal phase, ensuring a safe and effective workout.
If you're experiencing any issues like abdominal separation, pelvic floor issues, pelvic girdle pain, pelvic organ prolapse, or back pain, don't worry! Centred Mums Pilates and Wellbeing has got you covered. Their experienced instructor will thoroughly screen you before the classes to tailor the exercises to your specific needs. They use a combination of myofascial release techniques, restorative movement, and traditional strengthening exercises to challenge and support you through this period of transition.
If you're new to the classes, Centred Mums Pilates and Wellbeing offers the Pilates for New Mums bundle for just £150. And to enhance your sessions, you can also purchase their Equipment Bundle for £38, which includes an overball, spiky massage ball, fascial release ball, and TheraBand.
Classes take place on Mondays at 10:45 am at St Paul's Church. To ensure personalised attention and instruction, each class is limited to a maximum of ten mums. So you can rest assured that you'll be well taken care of.
Remember to wear comfortable workout attire and consider dressing in layers, as the class may cause you to warm up. Don't forget to bring an exercise mat and water, as well as the recommended equipment for the class. If you have a baby, they are welcome to join, but the focus of the class is on your postnatal recovery, so your little one shouldn't be involved in the exercises. If you prefer to enjoy the class alone, it might be helpful to arrange childcare for the duration.
And don't just take our word for it! Hear from some of our satisfied participants. Clare C said, “Grace was incredibly supportive throughout my pre and postnatal period not only through the Pilates but with general well-being as well. I don’t think I would have felt like 'normal' me as quickly as I did without her classes.” Melanie O'Hara shared, “Grace and her classes are amazing! After my second baby, the gap between my stomach muscles was 5 fingers wide. With her help and her great classes, I managed to restore my core strength and closed the gap completely!” Kathy Ede exclaimed, “Grace has a wonderful manner and knows so much about how pregnancy affects our bodies. As well as targeting my core and helping my baby-related back issues, her classes are fun and friendly.”
For future dates and availability, please visit their website or join the waitlist for their next class in St Albans on Jan 8 at 10:45 am. Centred Mums Pilates and Wellbeing looks forward to supporting you in your postnatal recovery journey!
