Muckamore Company of Archers, a fantastic Archery club in Ballyclare, is excited to promote an upcoming local Archery event. This club is all about inclusivity and welcomes archers of all abilities. With a rich history spanning forty years, Muckamore Company of Archers is a well-established club with over eighty members. They truly believe that archery is a sport that you will thoroughly enjoy. In fact, archery is one of the oldest recorded sports, and it's amazing to think that they still play it in the same way as centuries ago!
For those who are new to archery, the club offers have a go nights, giving you a taste of this exhilarating sport. And here's a fun fact: over 90% of participants who try it out end up embarking on a six-week beginners course. It's addictive!
You can find the Muckamore Company of Archers indoors at the Burnside Barn on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. If you prefer shooting outdoors, they've got you covered too. The club heads to the Ballyclare Rugby Club on Thursday and Friday evenings from May to Mid-September (weather and light permitting).
It's worth noting that Thursday shooting is exclusively for Longbow enthusiasts, so if that's your style, it's the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded archers.
