The practice primarily involves the use of the bamboo staff, typically around 1.68 meters in length, but also includes other traditional weapons like the sedikuchi (a 3-foot stick), teak, or Indian rose chestnut staffs. Each staff is meticulously prepared by submerging it in water and striking it against surfaces to enhance its durability, with metal rings often added to protect the ends.
