Movement Arts is a Pilates studio located in Toronto that is dedicated to inspiring a love of movement. Led by founder Lily McEvenue, a Certified Pilates Instructor and Movement Specialist, Movement Arts aims to help individuals overcome chronic pain, treat and prevent injury, and achieve their individual fitness goals.
Lily's mission at Movement Arts is to keep people moving, regardless of their stage of life or goals. She believes that movement should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone, and she is dedicated to meeting each client where they are at. With her diverse training background and experience as a professional dancer, Lily is able to tailor her approach to fit the unique needs of each individual.
Movement Arts curates principles and techniques from a variety of evidence-informed methods to help individuals feel confident and optimal in both mind and body. The studio is highly specialized in working with performing artists, but also welcomes individuals seeking better options for movement and fitness.
In addition to in-person individualized sessions at the Movement Room at Metro Movement, Movement Arts offers an online community called the Movement Arts Lab. This platform provides resources to help individuals train and perform with longevity and confidence in mind.
