Welcome to the Mount Kelly Swim Centre, located in Tavistock, Devon, UK. The Swim Centre offers a top-notch swimming experience with its two indoor swimming pools, the Olympic Legacy 50m Pool and a 4 lane, 25m pool. Both pools feature anti-wave lane lines and have lifeguards on duty during all sessions. To ensure accessibility, the Olympic Pool is equipped with Olympic starting blocks, underwater 5m sprint markings, and a Pool Pod.
At the Swim Centre, we cater to a variety of swimming needs. We offer open lane swimming sessions for the public in both the 50m and 25m pools. Additionally, we have the Swim England children's 'Learn to Swim' programme, designed for children from 4 years old onwards. Swimmers are divided into different stages based on their abilities, allowing non-swimmers to progress to a competitive standard.
For adults, we offer swimming lessons for beginners to advanced swimmers. Our fully qualified Swim England Teachers are available to provide guidance and help improve strokes. We also offer a range of other courses, including the popular Swim School, a technical training camp for competitive swimmers, and Aquarobics classes for those looking for a fun and challenging water-based workout.
The Mount Kelly Swim Centre also caters to clubs and schools. Club bookings are available for residential swim camps, offering a unique experience for team bonding and training. We also provide non-residential pool or lane bookings. In collaboration with Sport England, Swim England, and Active Devon, we work closely with primary and secondary schools to improve and promote swimming opportunities for students in the community.
