Welcome to Mount Compass Tennis Club! Located in the scenic town of Mount Compass in South Australia, Mount Compass Tennis Club (MCTC) is a thriving tennis community that participates in the Great Southern Tennis Association (GSTA).
As a member of the GSTA, MCTC actively takes part in the Saturday competitions from October to March each year. With a focus on promoting friendly and competitive tennis matches, MCTC provides an opportunity for players of all skill levels to enjoy the sport.
The club features four courts that are open to the public, free of charge. In addition, members of MCTC have exclusive access to three additional courts. This ensures that there is always ample space for players to enjoy a game of tennis, whether it's a social match or a competitive fixture.
MCTC also offers junior tennis training sessions every Wednesday from October to February. These sessions are open to all interested juniors and provide 30-minute coaching sessions with the club coach, Benny Seidel. The coaching sessions are divided into three different ability groups – Orange Ball, Green Ball, and Yellow Ball – to cater to the varying skill levels of the juniors.
For those interested in becoming a member of MCTC, further information about the GSTA competition, membership fees, and benefits can be found on the Tennis SA website. The website contains the GSTA bylaws, as well as contact information for any additional inquiries.
