Motutere / Castle Rock is an exciting climbing spot in the Waiau area of New Zealand's North Island. At 525 metres high, it offers stunning views and a mix of challenges for all climbers.

Right now, access to the rock is closed, but once it reopens, climbers should expect a 25 to 40-minute walk to get there. The rock faces southeast, giving good climbing conditions for most of the day.
