Bugatti Reef and Hydrographers Passage, the areas surrounding our fishing trips, are vast and offer phenomenal fishing. Many of these areas are uncharted with minimal fishing pressure. You can explore pristine reef lagoons such as Bugatti, Little Bugatti, and Whitetip Reefs, which provide great access to the hardlines outer reefs, shoals, and continental shelf for some action-packed fishing.

Your mother shipping adventure begins with Trigla departing from Mackay Marina at 4 pm for an afternoon cruise to the outer Great Barrier Reef. The cruise continues late into the night, allowing you to wake up on the Great Barrier Reef with a full day of fishing ahead. You'll be able to fish various reefs and try different fishing methods while travelling to the Hardline outer reef lagoons.
These lagoons, with their calm seas and sheltered anchorages, provide a great night's sleep after a hard day of fishing. They are located only five to ten nautical miles from the continental shelf and offer some of the best fishing Queensland has to offer. It truly is fishing nirvana.
On the voyage back home, a different route is taken to explore and fish the unique waterways, coral cays, and lagoons. The destinations and anchorages may change due to the Skipper's discretion and weather conditions. The departure dates for the REEFARI HARDLINE trips are available on application, with options for 5 to 7 days or custom charters. Everything you need is included, from bed linen and towels to food, soft drinks, and snacks.
When preparing for the trip, remember to bring sunscreen, a hat, clothing suitable for light winter weather, toiletries, any necessary medication, and a video/camera to capture the amazing moments. If you're into lures, poppers, and jigs, feel free to bring plenty, as you might end up using quite a few. Suitable lures will also be available for sale onboard. You can take home the reef fish you catch, but please adhere to the GBRMPA Regulations regarding fillets and bag limits.
