The Morning Hockey Academy South is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for student athletes in grades 5 to 9 to take part in the National Sport Academy Winter Classic Outdoor Game. If you're looking to up your game and improve your skills, this is the perfect chance for you. Interested players can apply from December 2023 to June 2024 to be part of the upcoming training season from September 2024 to June 2025.
To join the National Sport Academy program, all you need to do is attend one of our ice sessions as a guest. This will give you the chance to meet our current players and coaches, and get a feel for what we're all about. Our partnership with the National Sport School at WinSport sets us apart from the rest, providing high-performance student athletes in grades 8 to 12 with a top-notch training experience at the campus located in Canada Olympic Park. Spaces for the upcoming year are limited, so it's best to get in touch early if you're considering enrolling in the National Sport School.
Our hockey program consists of 55 ice sessions running from late September to March. Our focus is on individual skill development, offensive and defensive tactics, skating, puck handling, passing, and overall hockey IQ. Sessions are held at the Southland Leisure Centre, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for all participants.
