About
Hey all,
I wanted to drop a quick note about what's happening at Morlais Castle Golf Club in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. Ben, the organiser, wanted me to let you know about a few things that might pique your interest.
First off, the club has some pretty cool history. Built back in 1270 by Gilbert de Clare, you can still spot the ruins along the third fairway. Pretty neat backdrop for a round of golf, right?
Nestled in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons, the course itself is quite diverse. The first nine holes are around an old quarry, and the back nine roll over some lovely moorland. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, there’s something here for everyone.
Facilities? They've got them. The clubhouse is a great place to unwind after your game, with modern amenities and an indoor practise area. Ben’s made sure the club's a welcoming spot where you can relax and chat.
Planning a event? The clubhouse is perfect for everything from small family gatherings to larger events. They can handle up to 150 people, and the catering team is always on point. You can even hire a private room for special occasions.
And if you're after a scenic wedding venue, you're in luck. Situated on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, it’s the perfect spot for a picturesque wedding reception.
To get in touch, head over to their website for phone and email details. Ben’s pretty sure you’ll have a great time, no matter what brings you to Morlais Castle Golf Club.
Cheers!
