Mooncoin Celtic FC supports schoolboys, schoolgirls and junior league football in South Kilkenny, based in Mooncoin. The club fields multiple youth teams across age groups including U13 and U16, and looks to develop players over the long term with experienced coaches. They also run a Football Academy of Ireland summer camp, and plan major facilities development including a floodlit astro turf pitch and new clubhouse.
