Join the Monday Chummy event at Holwell Sports Bowls Club every Monday starting on May 1st (excluding Bank Holidays). Make sure to arrive at the club by 1:30 pm to get involved. Throughout the 23/24 season, a record of each player will be kept, with a Chummy Champ title up for grabs at the end of the season. Players will draw their rink and playing position from a hat for a bit of added excitement. Don't forget to jot down all the players' names on the card provided and drop it in the competition box after the game.
Secretary Sue will diligently keep track of everyone's results, and the Chummy Champ will be crowned during the club's Presentation Night. Non-members, as well as members of the U3A Bowling group, are more than welcome to join in on the fun. If you don't have your own kit, don't worry - bowls will be provided. Just remember to wear flat soled shoes on the green for safety.
If you prefer a more laid-back afternoon, there's also a rink available for a two-hour roll-up session with your pals. And to top it off, enjoy some tea and biscuits for a small fee during the event. Come and be a part of the Monday Chummy tradition at Holwell Sports Bowls Club!
