Nezwick Jive wants to share a bit about Modern Jive Surrey with the sports community. They've set up this fantastic dance school in South Croydon, and it's all about making Modern Jive fun and inclusive for everyone, whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned dancer.

Nezwick and the team run various dance classes, including Modern Line Dance, LeRoc Modern Jive, and private lessons for those who want that one-on-one focus. All the instructors are highly qualified with UKA Dance and are proud members of the LeRoc Jive Federation. They've designed these classes to be super easy to follow, with minimal footwork so that everyone can join in. Plus, you don't need to bring a partner as they do partner rotations to ensure everyone gets a chance to dance.

The evening kicks off with a Modern Line Dance/Strolls class influenced by RnB, Funk, and Soul, which gets everyone warmed up and ready to groove. Then it's onto the LeRoc Modern Jive classes, where they cater for both beginners and improvers, allowing everyone to learn at their own pace. And if you're on the fence about trying it out, you're more than welcome to come along, watch the classes, and soak up the atmosphere before making any commitments.

According to Nezwick, Modern Jive Surrey is known for its friendly and welcoming vibe. After the classes, there's social dancing, giving everyone a moment to shine on the dance floor and just have fun. And, as a bonus, dancing has some great health benefits, like improving aerobic capacity, balance, and mental agility.

For anyone interested in private lessons, Modern Jive Surrey provides personalised coaching in Modern Jive and fusion styles like Tango Jive, Rumba Jive, and more. Classes take place every Tuesday at the Old Whitgiftians Clubhouse in South Croydon. The venue has a fully licensed bar and free parking. Entry for the whole evening is £10.00, with concessions for students, those over 65, and low-income attendees.

The evening schedule starts with the Modern Line Dance/Strolls at 7:30 pm, followed by the LeRoc Modern Jive Beginners class at 8:15 pm, and the Intermediate class at 9:00 pm. From 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm, there's social dancing and practice sessions, so everyone can show off their moves and enjoy the lively atmosphere.
