MKG North Dublin is a martial arts school located in the coastal town of Skerries, offering a range of classes for all ages and abilities. With a focus on fun, fitness, and family, the school prides itself on providing a supportive and welcoming environment for students to learn and grow.
The school is the first and only branch of the Minnesota Kali Group outside the United States, founded by Guro Rick Faye, a leading student of Guro Dan Inosanto and a protg of the late Bruce Lee. The school follows the MKG Method, which emphasises using martial arts to create well-rounded individuals and improve mental wellbeing, in addition to physical fitness.
Led by Director and Senior Coach James Devine, the school boasts a team of experienced and energetic coaches dedicated to helping students reach their full potential. James, the highest qualified MKG instructor in Ireland, has over 30 years of experience in martial arts and 15 years of coaching experience with students of all levels.
At MKG North Dublin, each programme is designed to cater to the individual needs and goals of every student, regardless of age or ability. The school aims to inspire and encourage students to improve themselves with each class, rather than conforming to an ideal image of a martial artist.
With weekly classes for students aged 4 years and above, MKG North Dublin offers a safe and supportive learning environment where students can train hard, have fun, and develop the skills and mindset needed to succeed in martial arts and in life.
