Derby Athletic Club is excited to announce the upcoming Derbyshire MiniLeague Sportshall Athletics event at Queen’s Park Sports Centre in Chesterfield. This amateur competition is perfect for athletes of all ages, from U15 to U11, looking to showcase their skills in individual events. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or new to the sport, this event is a great opportunity to get involved.
Athletes aged nine and above are welcome to participate, with no prior experience required. Don't forget to show your team spirit by wearing your club's colors during the event. To secure your spot, it's recommended to sign up in advance through DAC training or by reaching out to [email protected]. Walk-ins on the day of the event are also accepted.
County teams will be selected based on individual performances from the first four matches. The top athletes from the U13 and U15 competitions, as well as the U11s Fun in Athletics Final, will have the chance to compete in the regional finals scheduled for March.
