Established in 1889, Minchinhampton Old Course is one of the oldest golf clubs in the West of England. Golf has been enjoyed on the common since its founding, and the course is often likened to an inland links course. The course features natural hazards such as the Bulwarks and quarries that reflect the area's rich history. You may even come across cows wandering the Common from May to October.
The club has been described as 'a small club with a big heart', and visitors and members alike can expect a warm welcome. Minchinhampton Old Course offers a challenging yet enjoyable round of golf on a course that has evolved over the years. With its natural contours and absence of bunkers, the course has a special character that sets it apart.
The Old Course consists of 18 holes, starting with the slightly downhill par 5 Beaudesert hole. It offers a generous opening for a potential birdie opportunity. Each hole presents its own unique challenges and rewards skilled positional play. The course will truly test your golfing skills.
