The kids programme starts from age 4, introducing the basics of self-defence and building confidence, discipline, and technical skills. As children progress to age 8, they learn more advanced techniques for sport jiu-jitsu and self-defence, enhancing their development.

Daniel Strauss, also known as “The Raspberry Ape,” is one of the esteemed instructors at Militia Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As a Roger Gracie BJJ black belt with 12 years of training experience, Daniel has achieved numerous accolades, including being a British and English champion at black belt, NAGA elite European champion, and the leading black belt by the UKBJJA. He has competed in renowned grappling tournaments such as Polaris Pro, ADCC, and the Eddie Bravo Invitational.

The club offers a diverse timetable, including both gi and no-gi training. Lessons balance traditional and modern techniques, allowing students to learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu comprehensively. Additionally, MMA classes are available every Thursday night to enhance striking and grappling skills.

Membership pricing is flexible, with adult membership at £80 for unlimited classes. There are discounts for emergency services personnel, and memberships for kids aged 8-12 are £40 per month, while those aged 4-7 can join for £35 per month. Drop-in fees are £10 for adults and £5 for kids.
