Just a friendly note from Alice, our organiser, to give you the lowdown on what’s happening at Mile End Park Leisure Centre and Stadium. Alice wants everyone in our sports community to know what this fantastic place has to offer, right here in Tower Hamlets, London.

First up, you've got to check out the gym. It’s got over 130 stations with the latest cardio and strength kit, plus there’s a women-only gym if that’s more your vibe. If classes are your thing, they've got Zumba, Boxfit, and Yoga in a special studio. And for the cycling fans, there's a Virtual Group Cycle studio for a cool, immersive ride.

Swimming more your style? There's a brilliant 25m, 8-lane pool and a teaching pool too. They run loads of swim activities, including lessons for both kids and grown-ups via the Better Swim School.

The sports hall is a hive of activity – you can play badminton, basketball, do some gymnastics or trampolining, try out fencing, and there's even Toddlers World for the little ones. Speaking of little ones, there's a massive soft play area that’s bound to be a hit.

For those who love outdoor sports, there’s an athletics stadium with a stand for spectators, an 11-a-side astro pitch for hockey and football, 3G pitches for smaller football matches, and courts for netball and tennis.

Need to unwind after all that activity? Head to the Health Suite with its sauna, steam room, spa, and chill-out area. Perfect for a bit of R&R.
